Serena Page and Kordell Beckham are the hottest bombshells leaving the villa.
After all, the duo was named as Love Island USA season six winners during the July 21 season finale. But it wasn’t just viewers who made their fandom known as when the islanders video chatted with their families from Fiji, Kordell’s brother Odell Beckham Jr. heaped praise over their connection.
"My brother is very supportive,” Kordell told E! News in an exclusive joint interview with Serena. “We talk damn near every day. So I was surprised that he was there but I wasn't too surprised. But man, when he was talking and seeing how he was speaking on Serena—he really, really likes her.”
The 22-year-old noted that his brother speaks from the heart, so the NFL star wouldn’t have told Serena how excited he was to meet her unless he really meant it.
“He'd never said that before off the rip, and he even invited her to the football games,” Kordell explained. “He was saying how he seen our connection from day one, and it was always there.”
In fact, his brother's words validated Kordell’s belief about his and Serena’s relationship.
“That right there made me feel like I wasn't crazy,” he expressed. “I knew it was s--t. I seen the same thing. No, I ain't tripping. But yeah, it was so nice seeing my brother and my brother him having these words of wisdom—as we get it from Pops. It was really great just seeing him on board, supporting us in our journey the whole way, knowing that he's watching this.”
And not only was the Miami Dolphins wide receiver following along on Peacock, he revealed that his many A-list friends were just as invested in Kordell and Serena's love story.
“He's geeking, he's like, ‘Yo, I got people coming up to me,’” Kordell recalled. “‘I'm at the White Party, everybody coming up to me, talking about your little brother. Are you watching? You know, him and him and Serena? It's crazy.' So that's pretty cool. That's one of the biggest parties in the world. So for us to be even mentioned out there…”
And from their little bubble in Fiji, the couple wasn’t even thinking about the outside world. So when it comes to OBJ’s glimpse into Love Island’s popularity, Serena, 24, said, “That should have told us how big the show was.”
Kordell, who admitted he often forgot the cameras were rolling, echoed, “Literally, should have.”
And after the finale and seeing exactly how many people were tuning in, Serena suggested it may just be proof to keep the party going. “We had no clue what the hell was going on out here,” she added. “But when I found out, like, over Bridgerton, 'why don't we keep going?' I was shook.”
(E! and Peacock are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
