Taylor Swift is rewriting her true love story.
With Travis Kelce watching her perform her second Eras tour show in Buenos Aires at a VIP tent with her dad Scott Swift, the singer gave the Kansas City Chiefs star a shoutout by changing a lyric in her song "Karma."
Instead of singing, "Karma is that guy on the screen coming straight home to me," the pop star replaced the word "screen" with "Chiefs." Many fans had speculated that Taylor wrote the original lyric to reference actor Joe Alwyn, who dated her for six years before they split earlier this year. The singer has never confirmed who her songs are about.
As Taylor sang the changed lyric, Travis smiled and put his hands on his face as the pop star's dad patted him affectionally on the back and cheered. The crowd erupted in applause as well, as red fireworks launched in the arena.
Travis reciprocated during the show, giving Taylor a shoutout of his own: As Taylor sang her 2019 song "The Archer," which contains the lyric, "Who could ever leave me, darling? But who could stay?" the NFL star held up a sign that read, "We will stay."
After the show was over, Travis waited for Taylor backstage and she ran into his arms, after which they shared a passionate seconds-long kiss.
The pair's apparent hard launch overseas comes a day after the couple had dinner with Taylor's dad in Buenos Aires. It also took place following four appearances by Taylor at Chiefs games over the past couple of months, as well as several date nights for the couple back in the United States. See photos from one of their nights out in New York City in late October below:
The stylish duo stepped out for dinner at NYC's Waverly Inn on Oct. 15.
For the evening out, the "Lover" singer wore a mesh Jean Paul Gaultier top paired with a leather skirt and boots.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce arrived to Satuday Night Live's after-party in NYC following their cameos on the Oct. 14 episode.
The duo walked hand-in-hand into Catch Steak NYC.
The NFL star and the 12-time Grammy winner have been sparking romance rumors since this summer.
The pair appeared to confim the relationship speculation after she attended his Kansas City Chiefs game in late September.
The duo was photographed exiting the party early Oct. 15.
Oh, what a night!
